Turkey Meat Loaf

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES
TOTAL TIME: 1 HOUR 25 MINUTES

SERVINGS: 8 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup scotch oats
  • 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • ½ cup of dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Additional - 1/2 cup tomato sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.

In the bowl stir together all ingredients until just combined.

Form mixture into a loaf shape on lined baking pan or form into a loaf tin

Top with additional tomato sauce or alternatively cover with cranberry sauce.

Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cooked through.

Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
